Derives a position size from equity, a risk budget and the distance to invalidation. It calculates exposure only — it does not estimate, project or promise any profit.
Assumptions: a fixed value per pip, execution at the requested invalidation level, and no allowance for spread, commission, financing or slippage. Real fills can be worse than the level requested, particularly around scheduled events or in thin liquidity, so the realised loss can exceed the figure shown. This tool is educational and is not advice.
