Accessibility statement

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. This statement describes what has been done and what we know is imperfect.

Measures taken

  • Semantic landmarks, one H1 per page and a logical heading order.
  • Keyboard operability with a visible focus indicator and a skip link to main content.
  • Text and interface colours chosen against the dark surface for contrast, with information never conveyed by colour alone.
  • Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images, and empty alt on decorative ones.
  • Touch targets sized for comfortable use on small screens.
  • Animated background motion is disabled automatically when the operating system requests reduced motion.

Known limitations

Some archive material was migrated from a third-party blogging platform. Where original images lacked descriptive alternative text, we have used the best available description, and some legacy tables and embeds may be less consistently structured than newly authored pages.
